If you want to travel independently from London to Stonehenge by train, you will need to travel to Salisbury first as this is the closest train station to Stonehenge, then take a tour bus to the stones or organise a budget private tour.

The train to Stonehenge from London is a reliable and economical option. With trains running every 30 minutes during the day, it’s also a flexible way to plan your visit.
